Delivery & Shipping

It is actually cheaper to ship your miniatures from an online retailer directly to your home than it is to purchase from a retail dollhouse miniature/hobby store. 

Even if you are in or near a major city, you will be hard pressed to find a retail store featuring the selection of miniatures that we carry in stock.  At the price of gas today, and at the average MPG, you would have to find a store with our selection and availability within 100 miles in order to save money shopping in person.  And that doesn't include your time or other expenses it took to make the trip!

To bring you the best in selection, availability, customer service, and delivery speed, we ship from supplier warehouses all across the United States.  One package is shipped per location, per order, and shipping is calculated to your shipping address from each location.  Combining items from the same location will decrease shipping fees.  To make the most of your shipping cost, add items from the same location, OR reach the threshold for FREE SHIPPING eligibility.

If you have items from multiple warehouses and your order does not exceed the FREE SHIPPING threshold, then shipping is calculated from each warehouse to your destination.  Click the brown cart button at the top of any page to view your cart summary where you can see which locations your items will ship from.  Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help with our multi-location shipping feature. 

All orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days after receipt of payment.  Most orders made before 8:00 PM CT are dispatched the next business day.  If your cart summary indicates that your order will ship from multiple locations, please allow additional time PER LOCATION for subsequent order processing through our distribution channels.  

All parcels are shipped with tracking and insurance. Large 1" scale and 1/2" scale dollhouses ship free and only in the USA. These dollhouses are not available for international shipping.

Express shipping is not eligible for our free shipping promotions. All express orders require a signature for delivery receipt. 

Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx or USPS.  If you have constraints on your delivery address, please let us know in the order note.  Delivery receipt for standard shipping is typically within 3-5 business days after the order has been dispatched depending upon the location of your shipping address in relationship to the location of our warehouse your order dispatches from.  Orders are not dispatched on weekends or holidays.

Please make sure that the email address you register and order with are valid as we will provide you with order and tracking information to that email.  If you are not receiving our emails, please add us to your address book which will keep emails from us from going into your junk mail or spam filter.  A tracking number to track your order online will be emailed to the email address provided when the order is ready for dispatching. If your order ships from multiple warehouses, please watch for multiple dispatching emails. 

We are not responsible for any lost package that was incorrectly addressed due to customer error.  We systematically generate our shipping labels from the information you, the customer, provides. So, if you give an incorrect or incomplete address and your package is returned to us, you will be charged the additional shipping to have the order re-shipped. If you contact us after your order has been placed regarding an incorrect shipping address, we will make every effort to correct your information prior to your package being shipped. However, once your order has shipped, any corrections to the shipping address may not be possible or if we are charged (UPS currently charges approximately $15.00) to have the address corrected, you will be charged those additional costs as well. So please take care when listing your shipping address.
