How To Make Dollhouse Crown Molding

Nothing speaks luxury like thick quaility crown molding in any (or every) room.  Here is how you can add a touch of fab to your dollhouse.

Items your will need:

    • Paint or wallpaper
    • Ruler
    • 1/2-by-1/8-inch balsa wood
    • 1/4-by-1/8-inch balsa wood
    • Scissors
    • Sandpaper
    • White glue
    • White paint
  1. Finish your dollhouse walls and ceiling with paint or wallpaper.
  2. Measure the rooms in your dollhouse that you are going to apply the crown molding.
  3. Cut a piece of 1/2-by-1/8-inch and 1/4-by-1/8-inch balsa wood for each wall using scissors to the length needed from the measurements you just obtained. Sand the ends smooth with sandpaper for improved finish.
  4. Glue the smaller piece to the larger piece with the wider sides together keeping the top edges even.
  5. Allow the glue to dry.
  6. Paint/Stain the molding your desired finish
  7. Glue the molding in place as desired
